Tysfjord Turistsenter AS is base camp for killer whale safaris in Norway, and offers modern hotel rooms with all conveniences. The hotel also has lecture and conference rooms, and a large, pleasant reception area with an open fireplace where flames burn most of the day. The complex is in a picturesque setting, looking onto the idyllic Storjordpolden and facing Norway's national mountain, the Stetind. Some of the world's most beautiful rock carvings are close by. The Tysfjord Tourist Centre is a hotel big enough to meet most requirements, but small enough to ensure personal contact and good service.
